BIO

Dalian Adofo BA (Hons), PGCE, MA is a Filmmaker and Educationist based in London. He is a published researcher and a fellowship scholar of Mirandanet Fellowship, a UK Educational think tank. He is also the co-founder of the educational initiative, Ancestral Voices, which advocates for positive representations and reflections of African Spiritual Philosophies and Knowledge systems to debunk the negative stigma and propaganda that Colonialism attached to it which still continues today. He co-directed the ground-breaking documentaries – ‘Esoteric African Knowledge’(2010), which addresses the discrimination faced by African Spiritual Systems and ‘Spirit is Eternal’(2017), a cross-continent systematic exploration of Africans spiritual systems and what they share in common in a unified cultural spiritual universe. He also directed and co-wrote the 2021 seminal exploration of the Haitian Revolution and Vodou in the film, Vodou: Theology of Liberation.
