This year’s DFM returns to a full physical programme while retaining some online presence. Instead of live streaming, the event will be recorded and become available as video on demand (VOD) a day later. The 2023 Durban FilmMart will continue to champion independent films, while also looking to include commercial film industry role players.

The DFM 2023 programme includes diverse voices across a variety of backgrounds and identities. To be truly Pan-African we must speak not only to those on the continent, but also to those from the diaspora.
