Oupa Makhalemele works in the Regulatory Development and Research Analysis unit of the Film and Publication Board. Educated at the University of the Witwatersrand, Mr. Makhalemele has worked as a researcher in a wide range of organisations and research institutions, including the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection, the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation and IDASA. He has published widely on online media content, looking at the implications of online interaction for among young people.
