Installed in the capital Yaoundé in 2006 to pursue higher education in art history and visual arts, Jerome SOFFO SIMO is quickly interested in computer science, animation techniques and special effects which will lead him to follow a training in production graphics at the training center DON BOSCO. In 2008, he quickly joined the professional world as a multimedia and web designer. The digital became his main means of artistic expression, he does not forget the animation which remains his first passion. In 2016, he created the Tous’Anime association, which allowed him to initiate several large-scale projects such as the CANIMAF festival, the EMANFILM device, which nowadays contribute significantly to the development of the animation industry in Cameroon. Jérôme SOFFO SIMO is also the promoter of a young animation studio STUDIO SOLF.
