DreamWorks Feature Animation veteran Mike de Seve is an Emmy-nominated director and screenwriter who worked directly under Jeffrey Katzenberg on six feature films, including Madagascar, Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third. He was also a sequence director and writer on the Beavis and Butt-Head feature film, and a director on all seven series of the Beavis and Butt-Head series. His global screenwriting company, Baboon Animation, has developed and/or written on animated series for 51 countries around the world, bringing them from concept to globally market-ready properties. Mike’s current series, Taffy, is airing in over 100 countries and is one of Warner Media/Boomerang’s top performing shows of the last decade. Mike has developed and taught semester-long courses, week-long seminars and one-day workshops and has mentored emerging screenwriters in countries around the world, including New York, St. Petersburg, San Paolo, Milan, Johannesburg (as a judge & mentor of the Continental Finals of Annecy Festival’s Animation du Monde), Melbourne and Sofia, under a variety of national grants and other cultural development funds.
