Nikita’s love for drama began at a young age, and has not dimmed since. She is a professionally trained filmmaker, holding a Bachelor’s of Arts Honours degree in Drama from the University of Pretoria. She performed in shows such as Micia de Wet’s Go sa na le Leina, which showcased in the State Theatre during the Vavasati International Women’s Festival in 2016. After her move to Gaborone, Botswana in 2017, she was appointed stage manager for Mascom’s President’s Concert and in 2018, was selected as part of the first official students to be enrolled in Multichoice Talent Factory. She wrote a feature film commissioned by Zambezi Magic called The Painting and won a month-long writing internship to Lagos, Nigeria. She is currently managing her film company N&M Productions which worked on major projects such as MultiChoice Talent Factory’s podcast, This is Africa, and UpicTv’s hit police drama, The Star.
