Dimakatso Kgomo is the  Deputy Director: Film & TV Incentives (The Department of Trade, Industry & Competition). He holds a BCom Honours in Business Management and he has extensive experience in the development and administration of government incentives. He joined the Film and TV Unit of the dti’c in 2015, where his responsibilities include the administration and development of Film & TV programmes, providing industry advice and endorsements for market access and investment initiatives by the Film and TV sector. Dimakatso has been engaged in the Creative Industry since 2013, as a Project Manager for the National Red Tape Reduction Programme, which included policy reviews and developing access to market strategies, with the aim of improving the ease of doing business in South Africa, under the dti’c and the Department of Small Business, respectively.
